Register to open a free Decibel Portal account.
Choose a developer to use. If they don't already have an account they too can create one for free. They won't ever need to access yours.
Your developer can download the Decibel Web Framework and CMS for free to work on their local machines.
When the developer is ready to upload to a test server, login to your account and select the Decibel software that you wish to licence and provide your payment card details.
You will be provided with a licence key after payment has been taken. Pass it to your developer so they can upload the website for you to view it.
You have 45 days free use of Decibel servers. Your developer can upload it via their account on the Decibel Portal on your behalf. At the end of that period, select the relevant hosting package to buy and get access to the usage reports and alerts.
Once your website is ready to go live, you can also choose to include a free trial of Decibel Analytics. This will help you see where visitors are clicking, give you useful information to improve your website performance and also give you details of potential prospective customers.
